Ronald Koeman 4/7 favourite to leave manager’s post at Everton

2 October 2017: Another home defeat at Goodison Park against Burnley saw Everton’s fourth defeat in seven Premier League matches as they lost 1-0. The question now is when, rather than if, manager Ronald Koeman is leaving the club. Ladbroke’s are offering the shortest priced option at 4/7 with Betvictor offering just 2/5, but they offer best odds on others under similar pressure, including Slaven Bilic, Craig Shakespeare, Roy Hodgson and Paul Clement. Betvictor is also giving new customers a free bet offer of £30 for sports betting.

Manuel Pellegrini 2/1 favourite to replace Koeman

Early talk of a replacement at Goodison Park has Manuel Pellegrini, former Manchester City manager, as the latest favourite with odds of 2/1 at Ladbrokes.

New permanent manager to be recruited at Bayern Munich

28 September 2017: Carlo Ancelotti has left Bayern Munich. The call has not been made too early as some suggest. The Bundesliga champions form has not been dreadful, but they are not likely to win the Champions League as they are now, when Ancelotti seems to have lost control, so action is needed now to start to improve the situation.

Bavaria born Julian Nagelsmann is the 4/6 odds-on favourite at William Hill to fill the post on a permanent basis. Nagelsmann is much coveted and has been on Bayern’s radar. At just 30 years of age, he would offer a dynamic, positive edge to their game. Nagelsmann has said previously that Bayern would be his dream job. Bayern’s assistant Willy Sagnol is currently in temporary charge with a 6/1 price available on him to take on the role permanently. The other main contender is former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel according to William Hill. Odds are also open for Jurgen Klopp 16/1, Joachim Low 25/1, Andre Villas-Boas 28/1, and Jurgen Klinsmann 28/1.

Real Madrid v Espanyol Betting Preview – 1 October 19:45

28 September 2017: Real Madrid will be aiming for their first win of the season on home soil after three attempts and just two points collected. They have won each of their three away games and a win at Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League in the week could ensure that Real Madrid does well against Espanyol, particularly since Cristiano Ronaldo is back and scoring again.

Ronaldo is the 15/8 bet365 first goalscorer favourite while Gareth Bale is trading at 15/4. Real Madrid are on a ten match winning streak against Espanyol across all competitions. Betting odds for the game are Real Madrid 1/10, Espanyol 22/1 and a Draw 9/1.

Girona v Barcelona Betting Preview – 23 September 19:45

22 September 2017: Barcelona are likely to extend their winning streak with their match against Girona. Barcelona have won all five of their league matches this season and hammered Eibar 6-1 at the Nou Camp midweek.

Serious option for this game, given the lack of goals that Girona have produced is not to score at bet365 at a price of 4/5. Lionel Messi is the 15/8 outright favourite as the first goalscorer with bet365.
